About Warren

Warren Fairbairn is a PGA Golf Professional with almost 30 years experience in the industry. He began playing golf from an early age. Winning a golf scholarship at the age of 12 gave him membership and coaching from Bernard Hunt at Foxhills Golf & Country Club. Other scholarship winners were Paul Casey and Anthony Wall.

Warren is constantly evolving his expertise and coaching skills to ensure that he provides his clients with a tailored approach to their game. He does this through:

  • Discussing and sharing information with other coaches and players
  • Attending many teaching conferences
  • Trial and error – analysing good and bad swings in order to identify that one error that is creating 3 or 4 more errors to happen. He knows that when he fixes that one mistake the others will fall into place

Warren’s biggest influences in golf come from 3 people: John Jacobs, Butch Harmon and Malcolm Henbery. They all believed in making teaching simple – swing path, club face angle and impact.

Warren works with golfers of all levels, whether a total beginner or elite tour professional. Each lesson is uniquely tailored to suit each individuals golf style and ability. Whether a client is wanting to learn golf from scratch, or work on a particular technique or swing, every lesson is designed to suit each client’s needs. With two young boys of his own playing golf, Warren has strong experience teaching the sport to children. Lessons are either held on the driving range or out on the course. Video analysis using V1 can also be used at an additional cost.

I am not a person who believes in a system, because no two golfers are the same
